How to make Photo Ornaments

How to make Photo Ornaments

Hello all you craft lovers out there.

I am starting out with a cute ornament for your Christmas tree. I know it's September, but it's never too early to start on your Christmas projects. Christmas will be here before you know it.

This is a really cute idea and you can use up some of your scraps of plastic & yarn, which I know all of you have.

To make this ornament you will need the following: scraps of 7 count plastic canvas, worsted weight yarn in red, green and white (or colors of your choice), some 3 mm gold beads and some craft glue or a glue gun.

Using the diagram as a guide, cut one of each a and b. Then stitch then using the color yarn and stitches indicated in the diagrams.

When finished, you can glue a small photo in the center of the b piece. If you don't have photos, you can cut a small scene from old Christmas cards & glue that on there.

It's a great way to recycle all of those old cards. If you're anything like me, you save things like that hoping to find a project for them someday.  Then, following the interlocking diagram, lock the two sections together. The you can glue gold beads on it in various places of your choice.

Here you can get creative with your embelishments. Use your imagination. Tie a small piece of yarn from one of the tips of the ornaments as a hanger & you're done.

I hope you like the idea that I've shared with you today. if you should have any questions, please feel free to drop by and ask.

Happy crafting to you all!!!
